Paris Peace Forum


Environmental Conventions Index stand at the Paris Peace Forum

The Center's team will present its flagship research project, Environmental Conventions Index, at the Paris Peace Forum on November 11-13, 2018. The project was selected among 850 applications and will be pitched to the audience on November 13th. Out of 120 projects showcased at the Forum, only 12 are from North America of which 2 are presented by academic institutions - University of Massachusetts Boston and Stanford University. The Paris Peace Forum is a high-level event that will be attended by more than 70 heads of state and government. The official introduction will be made by President of France Emmanuel Macron and addresses will be made by Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres


The Paris Peace Forum is a platform created to seek solutions for nowadays transboundary challenges. It is an independent initiative that came from French president Emmanuel Macron. The Forum will take place in La Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris and is organized by Körber Foundation, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, the Institut français des relations internationales, the Institut Montaigne, Sciences Po and the French Ministry for European and Foreign Affairs.
