COP23 and the way forward – Interview with Maria Ivanova

On November 6th, the 23rd annual meeting of the UN Climate Convention (COP23) was kicked off in Bonn, Germany. Under the presidency of Fiji, world leaders as well as civil society groups and business representatives come together to discuss the way forward in fighting global warming and climate change.

In light of this important summit and the future of the UN Climate Convention, Maria Ivanova (Director of the Center for Governance and Sustainability at the University of Massachussetts, Boston) talked with Living on Earth Host Steve Curwood and discussed the possible new leadership role of China and the future objectives of the UN Climate Convention.
