McCormack Graduate School and Global Governance and Human Security PhD Program Director, Stacy Vandeveer and coauthor’s new publication in Nature Sustainability take an innovative approach to examining the nexus of natural resources and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). They propose new metrics for comparative research and explore modeling perspectives for delivering SDGs using the nexus approach. Vadeveer states, “Our research perspectives address modeling approaches and scenarios at the interface of bio-physical inputs with the human dimensions of security and governance,” This is a must-read for new ways to frame the nexus approach, SDG delivery, and the interlinkages between resource inputs and governance.
